1. How long have you been part of the Comsearch team?
Four years.
2. What inspires or excites you the most about working in this industry?
I get to support and assist employees. HR touches so many parts so there is always something new to learn and ways to improve.
3. What skills have you developed since joining the company?
I’ve learned to confidently utilize the company’s proprietary software systems, especially Procheck.
4. What is the best compliment or positive feedback you have received from a client/coworker/manager?
At Comsearch, the best compliment I have received is that my hard work & dedication are consistently recognized by both my manager and my coworkers. Hearing it makes me feel valued and motivates me even more.
5. How do you balance your work and personal life?
Taking care of yourself is huge. I carve out at least one hour a day for self-care; whether it is going to the gym or taking a short walk.
6. When you are not working, what hobbies or activities do you enjoy?
My favorite activity is spending time with family and friends. In the summer, I get to the beach as much as possible. This is where I find peace & relaxation. The gym is another activity I enjoy (sometimes lol).
7. How do you stay motivated and inspired in your role?
Setting goals and meeting deadlines motivates me. Learning & understanding the business inspires me. This industry is new for me. My background is in manufacturing and retail.
8. What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
Family, friends, beach, shopping! Sometimes nothing at all just a “me day.”
9. If you could have any fictional character as a colleague, who would it be and why?
Olivia Benson. She is compassionate, determined and earns the trust through her integrity.
10. What was your very first job, and what did it teach you?
Waitress at Pizza Hut. I dealt with some difficult customers but learned to be kind because I have faced a lot of unkindness myself. Remember that every day is a wonderful opportunity to spread kindness and make someone’s day a little brighter.
